Amy Vickers has been working with "The Starchild Project" since 2004, and is currently the Chief Of Operations in the US. "The Starchild Project" is an informal organization that has been working with an unusual 900 year old bone skull known as the "Starchild Skull" for over 12 years. In that time numerous experts have studied the skull, and come to the incredible conclusion that it is unlike anything previously seen on planet Earth. THE STARCHILD SKULL is a unique 900-year-old bone skull found in Mexico in the 1930s. The Starchild Project is an informal organization which began in 1999 when Ray and Melanie Young, the owners of the Starchild Skull, asked Lloyd Pye to head research efforts to determine what caused the unusual shape and properties of the bone. The results uncovered by Pye’s team ruled out all known deformities [click to read the report], and presented the scientific community with a genetic and physiological profile never before seen on Earth. In 2004 a team of 11 specialists headed by Dr. Ted J. Robinson investigated the Starchild Skull in an attempt to identify a deformity, illness, or other natural explanation for the skull. They examined the skull, maxilla fragment, X-Rays, CT scans, performed a 3-dimensional scan, and extensively discussed and researched the skull's physical characteristics. The study concluded that the Starchild Skull was unlike any specimen in recorded medical history, and notably that its unusual characteristics are not the result of artificial cranial deformation. The Starchild Skull is not the result of artificial shaping. In 2003 samples of the Starchild Skull's bone were examined using a scanning electron microscope. Previous research had discovered that the bone was thinner and more durable than normal human bone, and when examined under magnification strange fibers were found embedded within the bone. Although the fibers are present only inside the bone, mycologists were consulted in an attempt to identify them as a fungus or other organism. They reported that it did not appear to be a biological contamination. Nothing like this has ever been seen in any kind of bone. Speculation is that these fibers act like the steel reinforcing rods in concrete, but so far the Starchild Project has not been able to isolate the fibers for further testing.

The Starchild Skull is a human-like bone skull independently radiocarbon dated at 900 years old (+/- 40 years). It is unlike any other skull that has ever been found or presented for inspection. It is unique in the world. The "Starchild" name resulted from early X-rays of a maxilla fragment detached from the skull. It had two visible teeth and five unerupted crowns embedded in the bone above. That, combined with a slightly-less-than-normal-adult size of the skull and the infant size of the maxilla fragment indicated a child of 5 or 6. However, subsequent examination by experts has led them to suggest that this age is not necessarily accurate. From extremely shallow eye sockets to total lack of frontal sinuses, the Starchild skull's physical traits cannot be accounted for by any known combination of deformities. The bone itself has a biochemical signature more like tooth enamel than bone, unlike anything currently known. And inside that unusual bone are microscopic fibers and a red residue that so far defy explanation.
